Therapy Services

Fees For New Clients:

Getting started in therapy is a reachable goal for everyone who is interested in growing personally and inter-personally.

Individual therapy is for children and adolescents, as well as for adults.  It is designed to help people to improve their coping skills, grow personally and deepen their inter-personal relationships.

Couples therapy is for partners who are concerned about their unique couple relationship.   I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) strategies when working with couples combined with practical, helpful, informative information to give couples a broad range of resources to work through conflict to resolution.  EFT is an empirically-validated therapy that has helped to improve over 70% of distressed relationships.  It is effective because it is designed to help couples get to the heart of what’s not working in their relationship.  Then I help couples develop tools and strategies to use outside of therapy to keep the couple from falling back into a negative cycle with one another.

Family therapy is designed to help all members of a family manage the unique situations they are facing.  I draw heavily upon Attachment Theory and Systems Theory to guide my work with families.   It is my belief, as a Marriage and Family Therapist, that every member of a family is impacted by chronic stress, health problems and difficult situations that each family encounters over time.  Therefore, learning to understand one another, listen to one another and work through conflict together is critical for all members of the family to grow and thrive.
